Greetings
The ZEW – Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research Mannheim, Germany, would like to remind you of two upcoming events:
1) 8th ZEWMaCCI Conference on the Economics of Innovation and Patenting taking place in Mannheim, May 16-17, 2019
Deadline for submission of full papers or extended abstracts is February 15, 2019.
We encourage theoretical and empirical contributions on knowledge generation and diffusion, impacts of innovation, financing of innovation, and strategic issues of patents and patent policy.
It is a great pleasure for us to welcome DIETMAR HARHOFF and TIMOTHY SIMCOE as keynote speakers as well as DIRK CZARNITZKI and GIANCARLO SPAGNOLO for an invited session on innovative public procurement.
2) CISS Competition and Innovation Summer School 2019, Ulcinj (Montenegro), May 27–31, 2019
This summer school offers young researchers in the fields of innovation and competition economics
the opportunity to discuss their dissertation projects in great detail within a group of experienced and renowned scholars, as well as other PhD students and postdoctoral researchers, in an inspiring environment.
Deadline for submission of extended abstracts or full papers is February 28, 2019.
