2020 ISS (International Schumpeter Society) Conference
July 8-10, 2020 at LUISS University, Rome, Italy
CALL for PAPERS
The biennial conference of the International Schumpeter Society will be held in 2020 in Rome, Italy and hosted in the campus of LUISS University for three days, July 8-10, 2020. The Schumpeter Prize dinner will be held on July 9th.
The theme of the conference is ¡°Schumpeterian Perspectives on Radical Change: Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Broad Societal Transformations¡±. The conference will bring together scholars, policy makers and practitioners, working on broad issues related to innovation and change from a variety of perspectives. It also aims to foster an interdisciplinary exchange of knowledge.
We invite you to submit an abstract of your paper to be considered for presentation at the conference or a proposal for thematic sessions. The abstract must not exceed 800 words and only one proposal per person is accepted. Proposals for sessions should include: a title for the session, the name(s) of the session coordinator(s), a brief presentation of the entire session, a list of 4 or 5 papers to be included in the session with authors and an abstract for each of them.
We also welcome proposals of sessions for presentation of new books.

We will provide some financial support for selected graduate students (or young scholars), in particular those from developing countries. The exact amount will be decided later, depending upon ex post budget situations. Those in need of such support can write to the conference chairman.
Following the tradition, selected papers presented at the ISS 2020 conference will be published in a special issue of the Journal of Evolutionary Economics (official journal of the ISS), as well as edited volumes published by the Springer Press and/or the Cambridge University Press.
IMPORTANT DATES
Deadline for submissions: March 15, 2020 at midnight Central European Time.
Information about acceptance/rejection: April 15.
After acceptance, the full version of the paper must be sent not later than June 15 to the organizers (papers not received at that time will not be included in the program).
Early bird registration untilMay 15.
Regular registration until June 15.
