Values of 8 tech regime variables, for 417 US PTO classes (3 digit) |

I have attached an excel file of the 8 tech regime variables with cycle time as one of them, with the average values of the variables calculated for about 417 US PTO classes (which is the 3 digit). This is the world average. Here, the cycle time is nomarlized value, namley divided by the world average cycle time.
Basically, the Jaffe group' NBER dataset provides the data for the variables of cycle times (mean backward citations), self-citations, originality, etc for each patent, and thus we have use these patent-level data to aggregate to the levels of nations, sectors, or firms.
Anyway, the attached one is the one I used for ICC (1996) paper and the chapter 4 of the book (Lee 2013, CUP).
