Keun Lee has participated the ISS since the Manchester Meeting a while ago. Recently (2011), he attended and presented at the ISS held in Aalborg, Denmark. There, he chaired a plenary sesssion on industrial policy, and presented a paper on "what makes more and less successful technological catch-up, comparing the Korea/Taiwan with the second tier catching up economies in Asia and Latin America.
In 2012 ISS meeting in Brisbane, Australia, he is supposed to speak at the plenary session on Asian dynamism. He wil talk about the main finding of his forthcoming book, Knowledge and a Detour for Sustained Catch-up beyond the Middle-income Country Trap: Neo-Schumpeterian Analysis at the Country, Sector, and Firm Levels.
